The Displaced Student Initiative

The Displaced Student Initiative (DSI) provides displaced students with an opportunity to pursue undergraduate bachelor’s university education, and post-degree employment, in the UK.
The DSI scholarship covers the cost of three years of tuition fees and accommodation at a UK university, study and learning materials, employability and employment support, and the option to apply for an additional two year graduate work visa after the successful completion of undergraduate bachelor’s studies.
The DSI scholarship currently prioritises female students whose education has been disrupted due to displacement.

Afghan Women's Scholarship - September 2023

The University of Dundee will provide a limited number of full tuition postgraduate scholarships for Afghan women. All eligible applicants must hold an offer to study at the University of Dundee, either conditional or unconditional. The scholarships will cover numerous fields of study, but will exclude postgraduate taught courses. The deadline for application is March 23, 2023. The semester commences on Sep 01, 2023. The successful scholar will receive a full tuition fee waiver for 1 year of study.

Afghan Women’s Scholarship Fund

University of the People is offering 1,000 scholarships for women in Afghanistan to pursue a bachelor’s degree for free online. Applicants do not need to complete a separate scholarship application for these funds. Students from Afghanistan can apply for the scholarships by submitting their application online and can contact their Admissions Advisor or the Office of Admissions directly (admissions@uopeople.edu) with a request for more information.
