The Mexican government's Ministry of Foreign Affairs (SRE), through the Mexican Agency for International Development Cooperation (AMEXCID), offers Excellence Scholarships for international students for the year 2024. These scholarships are designed for students pursuing specialty, Master's, doctorate, Ph.D., postgraduate research, undergraduate, and postgraduate student mobility programs in Mexico.

Benefits:
- Monthly stipend:
-Approximately $13,202.12 for Master's, undergraduate mobility, and Master's level research
-Approximately $16,502.65 for doctoral and postdoctoral research stays
- Enrollment and tuition fees covered
- Medical insurance through the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS)
- Mexican visa issuance fee waived
- International air transportation upon satisfactory completion of the academic program
- Reimbursement for national transportation costs
Eligibility:
- Nationals from over 180 eligible countries, including Afghanistan
- Hold a bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree as required by the program level
- Application must be in Spanish
- Minimum GPA of 80% in the last degree obtained
- Admission to a Mexican University listed in the program
- Must reside outside Mexico at the time of application
