The HEA program is dedicated to enabling Afghan professionals and students to enhance their expertise in critical areas, including a certificate track in Legal Essentials. Key Details:

  1. Eligibility Criteria: The program welcomes applications from individuals currently residing in Afghanistan who have already completed some level of university or college education. Eligible applicants must demonstrate proficiency in English (reading, writing, and speaking) and can be professionals at any stage of their career.
  2. Areas of Study: The program offers a range of courses, including law, leading to certificates.
  3. Application Process: Applicants are required to complete an application form that includes providing detailed contact information, educational and professional background, a selection of the preferred course of study (with a focus on Legal Essentials for those in the legal field), a self-assessment of English language proficiency, a current resume or CV, and a response to an essay question. Notably, the application process does not require the submission of transcripts, TOEFL scores, or letters of recommendation, making it more accessible to a wider audience.
  4. Timeline: The IIE will notify applicants of their status by early May 2024. Following this notification, the online courses are scheduled to begin in June/July 2024, offering participants the chance to embark on their learning journey promptly.
