Details
The Hilde Domin Programme will commence in the winter semester of 2024/25, with the nomination period running until 15th September 2023, followed by the application period from 19th September to 27th October 2023. Eligible candidates include students and doctoral candidates at risk of denial of educational rights in their home countries, including Afghanistan. The program aims to support these individuals by providing opportunities to study or research in Germany.
- Planned Start of Studies: Winter semester 2024/25.
- Nominations Deadline: Until 15th September 2023.
- Application Period: 19th September until 27th October, 2023.
- Eligibility for Nomination: Students and doctoral candidates at risk of being denied educational rights in their country of origin due to ethnic, sexual, gender, or religious identity or political/civic engagement. The program is also open to Afghan students.
- Ineligibility: Persons already in Germany, the European Union, the European Economic Area (EEA), or the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) at the time of nomination are ineligible for the scholarship.
Please note that candidates cannot apply directly; they must be nominated by an institution or organization domiciled in Germany
