The Government of Pakistan is offering 4500 fully funded scholarships to Afghan students under the Allama Iqbal Scholarship Program (Phase III), covering Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD studies. This merit-based program aims to strengthen educational ties between the two countries by supporting Afghan students in various fields of study. Selected students will receive full financial support, including tuition, accommodation, and living expenses.
Eligible Fields of Study:
- Business and Law: LLB (Bachelor of Law), International Relations, Finance, Economics
- Other fields include Medicine, Engineering, Agriculture, and more.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Must be an Afghan citizen.
- Undergraduate: Completed 12 years of education, age 17-23, with 75% marks (60% for Medical/Engineering).
- Master’s (MS/MPhil): 16 years of education, minimum 2.5 CGPA, age up to 35.
- PhD: 18 years of education, minimum 3.0 CGPA, age 35 (40 for faculty).

Additional Notes:
- The scholarship is merit-based, and applicants must pass an aptitude test or selection interview.
- Awardees are required to sign a legal agreement to return to Afghanistan after completing their education.
- Students must have the required academic qualifications by the application deadline and provide equivalency certificates for foreign qualifications.
