The Hilde Domin Scholarship, offered by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and funded by the Federal Foreign Office (AA), is designed to support students and doctoral candidates worldwide who are at risk due to circumstances such as political persecution or severe emergencies in their home countries.

Eligibility:
Open to students worldwide, excluding EU/EEA/EFTA nationals and certain other countries. Applicants must face educational denial or personal risk in their home countries and should not have been resident in Germany for more than 15 months prior to application.

Benefits
  1. Monthly stipend: €934 for Bachelor and Master students, €1,300 for Doctoral students.
  2. Health insurance, accident insurance, and personal liability insurance coverage.

Duration:
  1. Bachelor: Up to 4 years (including a preparatory year).
