The Italian Government MAECI Scholarships provide fully funded opportunities for international students and Italian nationals living abroad (IRE) to study Master's, PhD, Research, or Italian Language courses at public and recognized Italian Higher Education Institutions. Sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI), the scholarships aim to promote international cultural, scientific, and technological cooperation and the dissemination of the Italian language and culture.

  3. Coverage of health and medical or accidental insurance by MAECI for the duration of the scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria:

  1. Applicants must be international students not residing in Italy or Italian citizens living abroad.
  2. Age limits:
    -Under 28 for Master's and AFAM programs.
    -Under 30 for PhD programs.
    -Under 40 for Research Projects under Academic Supervision
  3. Language proficiency:
    B2 in Italian for courses taught in Italian.
    B2 in English for courses taught in English, unless the applicant's prior education was in English
